First impressions from Warsaw. Warsaw (Warschau) capital of Poland, lays at the Vistula (Weichsel). The Vistula is one of last natural rivers. It was never straightened and there is nothing build directly at the edge. The old town of Warsaw was completely destroyed during the second world war, but it was rebuild and has become UNESCO World Heritage.
The City is the main business and culture center in eastern part of Europe.
One of the best know artists from is Chopin.
Also the only Woman who earned to Nobel Prize Marie Curie was born in Warsaw.
